Disorganized/disoriented attachment, also referred to as fearful-avoidant attachment, stems from intense fear, often as a result of childhood trauma, neglect, or abuse. The symptoms associated with it are easily stigmatized and not held in a trauma informed lens, making it challenging for folks who struggle with it to feel supported and leaving them stuck in painful fearful avoidant cycles, responses and patterns.
This class is designed to address the gaps in treatment for folks who struggle with Disorganized Attachment.
