Navigating Disorganized Attachment Styles

Navigating Disorganized Attachment Styles

Attachment theory is one way to describe how we relate when activated or in a trauma response and what informs that. Attachment styles are not fixed, absolute or an end all be all. Many people feel like they identify with anxious, avoidant, secure and fearful avoidant attachment style at different points or areas in their life. However, some feel challenged by one in particular.
Disorganized (also known as fearful avoidant attachment style) is often stigmatized and not held in a trauma informed lens, which makes it especially challenging for folks who struggle with it to find resources that make them feel seen, heard, and held in their support networks.
This workshop is for anyone who identifies with or is in relationship to someone struggling with symptoms of disorganized attachment, borderline personality disorder, and complex post traumatic stress disorder.
Discover the key signs and symptoms of disorganized attachment, gain a deeper understanding of its origins, and learn effective techniques to overcome its challenges. This event promises to be an enlightening experience, offering valuable insights and empowering you to build stronger, more secure relationships.
"Navigating Disorganized Attachment," is a compassionate and trauma informed look at the blocks and barriers caused by fearful avoidance, where they come from and how to move through them.
